About the BrainFit Exercise Program
The BrainFit Program is structured in 4 week blocks to allow participants to “ Self Assess” if they are ready to progress.
Progressions can be as small or as often as a participant choses and may include only a slightly higher level of intensity of exercise or duration.
The human body requires small increments of
“progressive overloads” to ensure that the physiological systems function on “build stronger” process for all systems.
It is important to understand that your body also requires rest and recovery to heal and build stronger.
It is for this reason the BrainFit Program has been created in 4 week cycles. It is perfectly ok to repeat each cycle a number of times before “ self assessing” if you are ready to move into a slightly higher level of fitness
The Brainfit Program is structured as follows:
- Daily Cardiovascular Exercise
- Daily Stretching
- 3 days per week strength/ shoulder/ hip mobility
- 2 days per week core/ spinal elongation
The BrainFit Program Weekly Structure
Mobility Exercises, Strength Exercises and Cardiovascular Exercises.
The BrainFit Program includes 3 components:
- Mobility Exercises,
- Strength Exercises
- Cardiovascular Exercises.
Your program is structured so as these components are placed on different days, however, as you progress, you will find yourself combining your mobility program with your strength program. For example, including your chest opening exercises with your strength program exercises.
This is exactly what the BrainFit program aims to teach you .
You will find yourself walking and wanting to “ open your chest” or lengthen your walking steps.
You may even find yourself getting to know what exercises and what cardiovascular exercises require your heart rate to beat at certain heart rates.
The BrainFit programs encourages you to get to know “your exercise load” and to know what exercises are good for you as an individual.
