Exercise Modifications
CAUTION
- Make sure you are standing near a stable bench or chair that wont move to complete these exercises
- Start all your exercises with repetitions of 5 at a time each leg and build up to 20 on each leg in total
- Be mindful of pain in hips, feet or lower back and make sure you report this pain to your health professionals
- Avoid moving your hips and knee to extreme range of motions, think about the range of motion you need for walking and only complete movements in the same range
Exercise Modifications
CAUTION
- If you currently use a walking stick or frame, make sure you use your stick and frame for all of these exercises.
- Please take note of codes on exercise programs such as Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.
- People using walking sticks and walking frames should only compete Beginner programs
